CITY COUNCIL GENERAL ELECTION MAY 12, 2012  
   
The first day to file to run as a candidate for City Council is February 4th. The last day to file is March 5th. The election laws have changed, and so the last day to file as a declared write-in candidate is also on March 5th. Place 1 held by Don Pitts, Place 2 held by Dale Martin and Place 3 held by Kim Ware are up for re-election. Mr. Pitts has indicated he will not run for reelection. Mr. Martin and Ms. Ware will be running for reelection. Candidate packets will be available at Town Hall beginning February 6th.
