The Town of Lakeside is a primarily residential town of approximately 1,200 residents located in the northwest corner of Tarrant County. Lakeside is within minutes of Fort Worth, the Alliance Corridor, Lake Worth, Eagle Mountain Lake and the Fort Worth Nature Center. PUBLIC HEARINGS TO BE HELD FOR 2010 PROPERTY TAX RATES IN LAKESIDE ON AUGUST 19TH AND AUGUST 26TH. COUNCIL WILL CONSIDER APPROVING THE TAX RATE AT THE SEPTEMBER 9, 2010 REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING AT 6:30 P.M. BOTH MEETINGS WILL BE AT 6:30 P.M. AT TOWN HALL, 9830 CONFEDERATE PARK ROAD.

The City Council of the Town of Lakeside will conduct a public hearing on September 9, 2010, at 6:30 p.m. at Lakeside Town Hall, 9830 Confederate Park Road, Lakeside, to consider approving and adopting the Budget for Fiscal Year October 1, 2010 through September 30, 2011.  A copy of the proposed budget is available for review at the above address Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.  A copy of the proposed budget is also available on the Town’s website at www.lakesidetexas.us.  Questions can be directed to Dianna Buchanan, Town Administrator, Town of Lakeside, 817-237-1234 ext. 303.

WATER CONSERVATION PLAN MAY 1ST THRU SEPTEMBER 1ST

The Water Conservation Plan is effective beginning May 1st and will end September 1st of each year. The plan requires residents to only water every other day.

No property may use water for watering and landscaping purposes at any time on Mondays.

No watering is allowed between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. on any day.

Even postal addresses can water within the allowed time on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

Odd postal addresses can water within the allowed time on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.

Hand Water of plants & flowers, not to include grass, is allowed any day during the permitted hours.
